FAQ
Frequently Asked Questions
Shipping & Production
Where is KuGOLD based, and where do items ship from?
KuGOLD.com is operated by Good Friend Jewelry INC., a company registered in the United States. Jewelry is produced, quality-inspected, and shipped from our workshop in China.
How long does processing take?
In-stock items are normally dispatched within 48 hours after order confirmation. Some non-custom catalog items are produced after purchase and typically require 5–10 business days, averaging about 7 business days, before dispatch. Custom or personalized orders typically require about 20 business days.
Will I be charged customs duties or taxes?
International orders may be subject to import duties, taxes, VAT, or customs-clearance fees. Unless checkout expressly states otherwise, these charges are the recipient's responsibility.
Materials & Skin Sensitivity
Is KuGOLD jewelry solid gold or plated?
Pieces described as solid 9K or 14K gold are made from the selected gold alloy throughout and are not gold-plated, gold-filled, or vermeil. Choose the available karat on the product page.
What does KuGOLD's nickel-release testing show?
A REACH nickel-release report for submitted gold-colored chain and clasp sample groups recorded A: N.D. (not detected), B: 0.020 μg/cm²/week, and C: 0.021 μg/cm²/week. The highest reported value was 0.021 μg/cm²/week, and both sample groups were classified PASS. The report measures nickel release, not nickel-content percentage, and applies only to the tested samples. It is not a 0% nickel or universal allergy-free guarantee. Read the full testing explanation and limitations.
Returns
How do I request a return?
Email support@kugold.com with your order number. Eligible, non-custom items may be requested for voluntary return within 7 calendar days after delivery, subject to the conditions on our Returns & Cancellations page. Mandatory local consumer rights remain unaffected.
Can earrings or piercing jewelry be returned?
For a voluntary change-of-mind return, the item must be unworn and any genuine protective hygiene seal must remain intact. This does not limit remedies for faulty, damaged, or materially misdescribed goods.
